A go-to person in office, Kaustubh is always a shout away for anything you need. He is the back-bone of Jungle Lore and heads operations, finance & product design. He has relentlessly worked in keeping the ideology of Jungle Lore alive since its inception. A dynamic problem solver, someone who thinks on his feet, Kaustubh leads with example.
Ayush has traveled the length and breadth of India with his friends. He is an adventure freak who is always ready to jump into a raft or hang by a rope from a cliff.
Insia is an IIT Kanpur grad, and an IT professional. She is a poet at heart, worships Ogden Nash, and is a voracious reader. She may come across as a serious person, but as you get to know her more, you would surely be tickled by her witty cynicism. Insia is the editor of The Beam - the Jungle Lore monthly newsletter and volunteers in educational school programs as an instructor.
Tejas volunteers as a lead for Jungle Lore's weekend treks, wildlife excursions and trips to Himalayan destinations. A banker by profession, he is highly regarded for his organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and crisis management. He has been unrelenting in his support to Jungle Lore, a veteran in organizing trips and is fondly called "Bhaji" by his close friends.
Satish Joshi is a noted potter and an expert at Warli Art. A magician on the wheel, Satish loves working with people of all ages. He is capable of infusing the dullest man with tons of energy. An expert trekker, executes any task with acute perfection and is well known for his fondness for humor.
Gautam has been instrumental in giving life to many of Jungle Lore's ideas through his impressive artwork. A grunge-metal fan and che-Guerra worshiper, his illustrations and graphic designs speak for themselves. He is the founder of Inkspiration, and has his own line of merchandise under this brand. Give him an abstract idea and he'll surprise you with a product that was exactly what you wanted.
Hemant's role is to translate everyone's radical creative ideas into working documents, posters, pamphlets, e-newsletters and web-pages. He has also been administrating Jungle Lore's website and is an active volunteer for all our events. Hemant takes care of Kundalika River rafting activities.
A zoology student,an aspiring herpetologist, snakes do not escape her gaze and she is capable of wrestling down even the scariest of the lot. Shivani is the youngest in the team and considers Steve Irwin her hero. She loves masala movies, shopping, jungles and cooking.
Vilas is the most important person in office, the undoubted savior looking after administration and back-office work for Jungle Lore. Our Mumbai office heavily depends upon him. From daily nuances, to the most arduous tasks, Vilas is up for all. He loves vada pav, chai and a good chat.
