Ranthambhore National Park
Ranthambore is the royal hunting place for the Maharajas of Jaipur in the earlier time. But today it is the famous Tiger Reserves of India in Rajasthan. One of the best place to see such kind of majestic predators in the wild Tiger can be seen in the day time hunting for their prey, taking care of their young cubs and in various moods in the wild. Ranthambore National Park is in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan state and is located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range.
Wild Animals and Birds at Ranthambhore
Animals : Tigers, Leopards, Striped Hyenas, Sambar deer, Chital or Spotted Deer, Nilgai, Hanuman langurs, Jackals, Jungle cats, Caracals, Sloth bears.
Reptiles : Crocodiles, Monitor lizard, Turtles, Indian Pythons Cobra, Viper
Birds : Roofus Tree-pie, Painted Storks, Wolly Neck Storks , Black Storks, Flame back Woodpeckers, pied woodpeckers, varieties of Kingfishers like common, white breasted, pied, stork-billed, Indian and european rollers, Bee Eaters, Cuckoos, Parakeets, Asian Palm Swift, Varieties of owls like Dusky eagle Owl,Collar scof owl, spotted owlet, Nightjars, Crakes, Snipes, Sandpipers, Gulls, Terns, Eagles like Serpent eagle, changable hawk eagle, Darters, Cormorants, Orioles, Cuckoo-Shrikes, Minivets, Drongos, pittas etc.
Itinerary
Jungle Lore offers you 2 nights and 3 days stay in Ranthambhore. Our itinerary is carefully designed keeping in mind the needs of a great wildlife experience. Our highly experienced team of drivers and naturalists who know the forest like the back of their hand; make sure that our guests have an unforgettable experience in the deciduous heaven of Ranthambhore. The itinerary includes accommodation in ITC Welcome group's Ranthambhore Forest Resort with 4 star amenities, sumptuous food, 3 Jungle Safaris, visit to the fort and surface transfers.
DAY1 |
Evening departure for Ranthambhore. Evening Departure for Sawai Madhopur by Jaipur Superfast Express at 6:50 pm from Mumbai Central. |
DAY2 |
Jungle Safari Arrive in Sawai Madhopur by 10:30 a.m. and transfer to the resort. Post some rest and lunch we head for our first jungle safari with our team of experts. As we return from the forest after the safari a slide-show on flora and fauna of Ranthambhore by an expert is planned ahead. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort. |
DAY3 |
Jungle Safari Leave for early morning jungle safari. Return to the resort for breakfast followed by leisure time. After lunch, we leave for another jungle safari. After returning to the resort we shall enjoy Rajasthani Folk Dance and cultural show performed by local artists. Overnight stay at the resort. |
DAY4 |
Visit the majestic Ranthambhore Fort Leave for a visit to the mighty Ranthambhore Fort(second largest fort of Rajasthan) in the morning. Back to resort for breakfast & lunch. Departure for Mumbai in the afternoon at 4:00 p.m.. |
DAY5 |
Back in Mumbai Arrive in Mumbai with awesome wild memories. |
