The Jungle Lore store has a variety of products that are created on the basis of three motivational factors that shape our activities: conserving wildlife, promoting travel, and creating awareness through art.
Our T-shirts, named as “The Dying Breed” series are created to spread awareness about the need to conserve wildlife,. They will appeal to those with an artistic bend of mind. The unique artwork depicts how the destiny of man and nature are intertwined. The focus is on a few indicator and flagship species. In today’s age of endorsing brands, let us all use fashion for a cause.
The traveling gear is designed especially for the avid travel enthusiast. The one-day-trek bags, laptop bags, pouches and expedition ruck-sacks were created from well-thought-out designs, with inputs from years of experience of surviving in the great outdoors. Each feature like rain cover, water sipper, rods to keep the weight perpendicular to your back make these products unique and specific to your traveling needs.
This is also the place where you can pick-up creations made by a semi-nomadic community - The Mogya’s from Rajashthan. We represent "Tiger Watch", a Ranathambhore based NGO, doing ground level work in Tiger conservation. They have put together rehabilitation plans to impart simple creative skills to the women of this poaching tribe and have helped to create a small cottage industry for them. The income from these products will help them sustain themselves and de-tangle their fate from the fate of the tiger. You can also contribute to the cause through donations by sponsoring a child’s education or by being a volunteer.
Other products like silk, papier maches, animal print ties, water color paintings, teak wood tiger pug-marks etc. also add variety to the list.
