About Tadoba National Park

Tadoba’s southern tropical dry deciduous forest of Deccan Peninsula comprises of teak forests with bamboo thickets which shelters the 50 tigers of the reserve. It lies in Chandrapur District; and is Maharashtra's oldest National Park created in 1955. It is also one of India's 28 Project Tiger Reserves. The National Park is 623 km² in area, consisting of two forested rectangles of the Tadoba and Andhari range. Along with around 50 tigers, Tadoba Tiger Reserve is a home for rare Indian wildlife such as Leopards, Sloth Bears, Gaur, Nilgai, Wild Dogs, Hyenas, Civet and Jungle cats, and species of deer and antelopes- Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Chausingha and Barking Deer. The Tadoba lake sustains the Marsh Crocodile, which were once common all over Maharashtra. Tadoba is also an ornithologist's paradise with a varied diversity of aquatic birdlife, and Raptors. The reserve also shelters over 70 species of spiders and butterflies.

  Afternoon Departure for Chandrapur by Sevagram Express at 3.15 pm from Dadar

Arrive at Chandrapur
Arrive Chandrapur at 9:30 am. Transfer to Forest Resort. Have breakfast & relax at resort. After lunch, jungle safari to Tadoba National Park and experience majestic wildlife. On returning back to resort, we shall have an informative slideshow on Wild habitat of Tadoba. & overnight stay at the forest resort.

Leave early morning for jungle safari. Return to resort for breakfast. Some free time for relaxation. After Lunch, again we shall leave for a jungle safari at around 2:00 pm. Overnight stay at the forest resort.

Early morning nature & bird trail around forest back to resort for breakfast & lunch. Evening extra jungle safari & departure for Mumbai evening at 7:00 PM.

Arrive at Mumbai by afternoon. Tour Concludes with some wild memories
