Bandhavgarh National Park
Bandhavgarh National Park is located within the district of Sahdol in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This forest nestled among the Vindhya hills came into existence in 1968. Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the finest national park in the India and has the distinction of harboring the highest concentration of tigers per unit area of forest.
Wild Animals and Birds at Bandhavgarh
Animals : Common Langurs, Rhesus Macaque, Asiatic Jackal, Bengal Fox, Sloth Bear, Ratel, Gray Mongoose, Striped Hyena, Jungle Cat, Leopard, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Chausingha, Nilgai, Chinkara and Tiger.
Birds : Browed fantails, Steppe eagles, Green pigeons, Grey Malabar Hornbills, Blossom headed Parakeets, Blue bearded bee eaters, Green bee eaters, White bellied drongos, Owls, Minivets, Woodshrikes, Paradise flycatchers, etc.
Travel Itinerary
Jungle Lore offers a 3 nights and 4 days stay in Bandhavgarh. The Itinerary is meticulously designed to give our guests the most exhilirating wildlife experience. Our expert team of naturalist and drivers will guide your way through the Sal forest making sure that you have an experience of a life time.
Day 1 - Evening Departure for Bandhavgarh
We depart for Katni, Madhya Pradesh by evening from CST,Dadar or Kurla.
Day 2 - Arrive at Katni
As the train arrives in Katni, we depart for Bandhavgarh by taxi (110 kms). Upon arrival in Bandhavgarh we transfer to the very hospitable Mogli resort. After freshening up, we assemble for dinner, which marks the end of the day. Overnight stay at the Resort.
Day 3 - Jungle Safari
We leave for early morning safari to experience the grand wildlife of Bandhavgarh. Upon return to the resort, breakfast is served. After freshening up, relaxation and Lunch we leave for the second jungle safari. Upon returning back to the resort, we'll be engaged by our expert in an informative slideshow on wild habitat of Bandhavgarh. Dinner & Campfire mark the end of the day.
Day 4 - Jungle Safari
The bliss continues as we leave for early morning Jungle Safari. Upon return to the resort, breakfast is served. After freshening up, relaxation and Lunch we leave for the second jungle safari. Upon returning back to the resort, some leisure time is on the cards. Dinner & Campfire mark the end of the day.
Day 5 - Visit Dhuwandhar waterfall / Bhedaghat
The day begins with breakfast after which we head to famed Dhuwandhar Waterfalls and Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat. We have lunch on our way back. After Dinner we depart for Mumbai.
Day 6 - Arrival at Mumbai
Arrive at Mumbai by afternoon. Tour Concludes with some awesome wild memories.
