This summer enjoy the wilderness in one of the most beautiful forest of India. Kanha is tucked away in the Eastern part of the Central-Indian Satpura Range. Legendary for its wilderness, tiger sightings and great birding- Kanha promises to be a special experience. Immensely rich in game, Kanha has the distinction of harboring the last of the highly endangered Hard Ground Barasingha, a major conservation milestone. The vast size of the park makes extended explorations possible and Kanha is a favorite with photographers for its sheer quality of wildlife viewing.

Wild Animals and Birds at Kanha

Animals : Tigers, Leopards, Striped Hyenas, Sambar deer, Chital or Spotted Deer, Nilgai, Hanuman langurs, Jackals, Jungle cats, Caracals, Sloth bears.

Reptiles : Python, Russels viper, Krait, Boa, the keel backs.

Birds : Browed fantails, Steppe eagles, Green pigeons, Grey Malabar hornbills, Blossom headed parakeets, Blue bearded bee eaters, Green bee eaters, White bellied drongos, Owls, Minivets, Woodshrikes, Paradise flycatchers etc.

Itinerary

Jungle Lore offers a 2 nights and 3 days stay in Kanha for its guests. Our itinerary is carefully designed keeping in mind the needs of a great wildlife experience. Our highly experienced team of drivers and naturalists know the forest like the back of their hand. They make sure that our guests have an unforgettable experience in the forests of Kanha. The itinerary includes luxury accommodation at Bundela Safari Lodge, sumptuous food, 4 Jungle Safaris and pick up drop from Jabalpur. Needless to say Jungle Lore expertise is the highlight.

DAY

1

Departure for Jabalpur.

We depart to Jabalpur from CST by Garibrath Train No. 12188 at 1.30 PM.

DAY

2

Arrival at Jabalpur and transfer to Kanha.

As the train arrives in Jabalpur by 6:00 AM, we drive down to Kanha. Breakfast en-routed. Upon arrival in Kanha we transfer to the very hospitable Bundela Safari Lodge. After freshening up, sumptuous lunch. Post lunch we leave for our first jungle Safari in Kanha National Park. On return, informative slide show on Tiger behavior. Dinner and Overnight stay at the resort.

Jungle Safari.

The bliss continues as we leave for an early morning Jungle Safari. Upon return to the resort, breakfast is served. After freshening up, relaxation and lunch we leave for the second jungle safari. Evening time is leisure time. Dinner & Campfire mark the end of the day.

Jungle Safari and Departure to Mumbai.

Leave for early morning Jungle safari. Upon return to the resort, breakfast is served. After freshening up, relaxation and lunch. Departure to Nagpur and fly back to Mumbai via the late evening flight.

Bundela Safari Lodge is an exclusive Safari Lodge spread over 8 acres of natural surroundings overlooking the Banjaar River offering authentic Jungle Experience for the guests. The resort has 4 Machan Villas, 12 Luxury Rooms and 4 Shikhar Tents designed to provide unobstructed view of the jungle around.
