Dear Member,
Jungle Lore celebrates the monsoons with lots of outdoor
activities. The Beam brings you snapshots from some of our
latest outings to Peb Fort, Lohagad, Sagargad, Kolad and
Karjat. Flip to the upcoming events to see what we're doing
in the next couple of weeks.
In this edition of The Beam, we have Dr. Caesar Sengupta,
a passionate birder, talking about his trip to Pangot and
Sat Tal earlier this year. He is also our feaured photographer
for August - his enticing descriptions of his birding experiences,
and his crisp photography is sure to enthuse you. We also
have a description of one of the nation's most vibrant festivals
- the Ladakh festival - composed for you by Ayush.
We also have our regular columns telling us about uncommon
"mating dances" in the wild and facts about Vultures
you might not have known.
Hope The Beam sparks your interest and enlivens your day.
If you have something you'd like to share with Jungle Lore
members, or a word of advice for the newsletter team, we
would love to hear from you!
Enjoy!
