Dear Member,

Greetings from Jungle Lore. This edition of the Beam focuses on the rare, exclusive and precious.
We contacted our friend Sachin Rai, award-winning wildlife photographer with a passion for frogs, and asked him about what it means to "re-discover" a frog species. Read all about it in our article about efforts to rediscover lost  species of amphibians in India, that hit news headlines in February.

We also got him to pose as our feature photographer for the month, and hope you will enjoy viewing the world through his lens.

We also feature an article about the Maasai and Samburu people from  East Africa, their customs and values that seem foreign and exotic to us, and may sadly be forgotten soon. For more on old and untouched tribes of the world, flip to the Did You Know section, where you can also read little known facts about turtles.

Do flip to the upcoming events and plan your Jungle Lore well in  advance. You can to share your opinions with Jungle Lore by dropping us an email on newsletter.junglelore@gmail.com.

Enjoy!
