Daywise Itinerary
Arrive at Guwahati airport/railway station and meet our representative. Drive to Tezpur, a charming town on the banks of the Brahmaputra. Check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Tezpur.
After breakfast, drive to Dirang. Enroute visit the Tipi Orchid Centre, home to over 7500 orchids, and the natural hot water spring. Arrive in Dirang, check in to your hotel, and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Dirang.
Post breakfast, head to the picturesque Sangti Valley. Visit the Sheep Breeding Farm, Yak Research Centre, and Kiwi gardens amidst serene landscapes. Later, drive to Mandala Top for panoramic views. Overnight stay in Sangti Valley.
Drive to Tawang, crossing the breathtaking Sela Pass (13,700 ft) with its pristine lake. Enroute, stop at JaswantGarh War Memorial, honoring the heroism of Rifleman Jaswant Singh during the 1962 Indo-China war. Arrive in Tawang and check in. Overnight in Tawang.
Explore Tawang, the mystical land of the Monpas. Visit the iconic Tawang Monastery (Golden Namgyal Lhatse), one of Asia’s largest lamaseries, and the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. Later, visit the Tawang War Memorial dedicated to the martyrs of 1962. Evening free for local shopping. Overnight in Tawang.
Take a full-day excursion to the stunning Madhuri Lake (Shonga-tser Lake) and the Indo-China border at Bum La Pass(subject to permits). Enjoy the scenic drive and high-altitude landscapes. Return to Tawang for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Bomdila, a town known for its monasteries and apple orchards. Visit the peaceful Bomdila Monastery in the evening. Overnight stay in Bomdila
Drive back to Guwahati. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
After breakfast, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple (time permitting) before transferring to Guwahati airport or railway station for your onward journey. Tour ends with beautiful memories of Arunachal Pradesh.
