  1. Celebrate Culture at the Leh Festival

    Immerse yourself in Ladakh’s living traditions with vibrant masked dances, folk performances, polo matches, and community celebrations at the Leh Festival—a cultural spectacle like no other.
  2. Explore the Jewel Lakes of Ladakh

    Visit the surreal Pangong Lake and the tranquil Tsomoriri Lake, famous for their crystal-clear waters, dramatic landscapes, and ever-changing hues.
  3. Wild Landscapes & Rare Wildlife

Daywise Itinerary

Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Since Leh is situated at a high altitude, the first day is reserved entirely for acclimatization to help your body adjust to the thin air and prevent altitude sickness.

Overnight: Leh

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion covering some of Ladakh's cultural and historical highlights:

  • Visit the magnificent Thiksey Monastery, one of the most beautiful monasteries in Ladakh.
  • Stop at Sindhu Ghat on the banks of the Indus River.
  • Visit the revered Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, associated with Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
  • Witness the spectacular confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Sangam Point.
  • Explore the Hall of Fame, a museum maintained by the Indian Army showcasing Ladakh's history and the bravery of Indian soldiers.

Return to Leh in the evening.

Overnight: Leh

Enjoy the vibrant celebrations of the annual Ladakh Festival, featuring traditional masked dances, folk performances, cultural processions, local handicrafts, and Ladakhi cuisine.

In the evening, visit:

  • Shanti Stupa for panoramic sunset views over Leh town.
  • Leh Palace, a historic nine-storey palace overlooking the city.

Overnight: Leh

Drive Time: Approximately 5–6 Hours

After breakfast, drive to the enchanting Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes at an altitude of 5,359 metres.

Upon arrival in Nubra Valley:

  • Visit the famous sand dunes of Hunder Sand Dunes.
  • Enjoy a memorable ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels (optional).

Overnight: Nubra Valley

After breakfast, drive to the picturesque village of Turtuk, one of India's northernmost villages located close to the Indo-Pak border.

Explore:

  • Traditional Balti culture and heritage.
  • Apricot orchards and beautiful mountain scenery.
  • Charming stone houses and local interactions.

Return to Nubra Valley by evening.

Overnight: Nubra Valley

Drive Time: Approximately 6–7 Hours

After breakfast, drive towards the spectacular Pangong Tso via the scenic Shyok route.

Upon arrival, witness the mesmerizing shades of blue of Pangong Lake, which stretches from India into Tibet.

Spend the evening soaking in the serenity and breathtaking landscapes.

Overnight: Pangong Lake

Drive Time: Approximately 7–8 Hours

Today, embark on one of Ladakh's most adventurous and scenic drives through the remote regions of Chushul and Nyoma.

Pass through:

  • The vast plains of Changthang.
  • Remote high-altitude landscapes and traditional nomadic settlements.

Arrive at the pristine Tso Moriri, a high-altitude lake renowned for its untouched beauty and rich birdlife.

Overnight: Tso Moriri

Drive Time: Approximately 7–8 Hours

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh.

En route:

  • Visit the beautiful saltwater lake of Tso Kar, often referred to as the "White Lake" because of its salt deposits.
  • Enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the Changthang Plateau and keep an eye out for wildlife such as kiangs (Tibetan wild asses) and marmots.

Arrive in Leh by evening.

Overnight: Leh

 

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight, carrying unforgettable memories of Ladakh's monasteries, festivals, high mountain passes, and stunning lakes.
