Tour Overview
The revered mountains of Adi Kailash & OM Parvat are located on the Indo-China border in the Pithoragarh District of Uttarakhand. Both peaks bear significant religious importance for devotees of Lord Shiva. The Vyas Valley where the Adi Kailash & OM Parvat are located are verdant and scenic valleys with scenic villages like Gunji, Kuti, Nabhi.
These villages have comfortable homestays where the local people will treat you with their warmth and hospitality. Now with a new road you can view Mount Kailash from India.
On this Dussehra 12th October 24 we are starting our journey from Delhi through Nainital, Pithoragarh , Dharchula to reach Gunji from where the road takes a fork shape, one leading to Adi Kailash and the other to Om Parvat. While coming back we are covering less explored hill stations like Chaukori & Abbott Mount.
Daywise Itinerary
Early morning fly to Pantnagar & Drive to Pithoragarh. Check into your hotel and explore the area.
Sightseeing in Pithoragarh: Pithoragarh Fort, Jhulapadma Temple, Kedar Baba Temple. Overnight at Pithoragarh.
Drive from Pithoragarh to Dharchula. Check into your hotel and explore Dharchula.
Sightseeing in Dharchula: Kali Temple & Dharchula Viewpoint. Overnight in Dharchula.
Drive from Dharchula to Gunji & Check into your accommodation and some rest. Explore local villages Scenic views of the Himalayas. Overnight at Gunji.
Drive from Gunji to Adi Kailash. Explore Adi Kailash surrounding and return to Gunji. Overnight at Gunji.
Drive from Gunji to Om Parvat. Explore Om Parvat. If we get permission we can travel further 15 KM towards the Tibet border and Take view of Mt. Kailash. Post lunch we will return to Gunji.
Drive from Gunji to Chaukori. Check into your hotel and relax. Evening visit Panchachuli Peak View, Sunset Point & Local tea gardens. Overnight Chaukori.
Drive from Chaukori to Bhimtal. Explore Bhimtal. Evening visit Bhimtal.
